FILIPINO fans of Jessica Sanchez are all eyes on her from day one of her American Idol journey. While her chance of bagging the title is visible, she may lose it in the blink of an eye. The ‘save card’ vote by the hosts, Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler has assured her of a continued shot in the competition but the text votes of the American viewers will what determine her future.
Trouble is, there are only a few Filipino-Americans when weighed with the majority of true-blue American people. So, there is still a doubt whether or not she’d stay in the game until her hand is raised as winner. Now, what will happen if she doesn’t bag the title? Will she have a chance to be a big recording artist in mainstream America?

There’s a talk floating that in case Jessica fails to make it as the ultimate American Idol, ABS-CBN is willing to offer the Pinay-Mexican singer to join the number one network. She may not be as beautiful like the others in its stable of stars, but definitely her musicality is so supreme. But does it matter to Filipino viewers? Accept it or not, we are so partial with mestiza-looking stars, like Bea Alonzo and Anne Curtis or the saccharine (pa-cute?) type like Sarah Geronimo, Toni Gonzaga, among others.

but she can be a Mexican star as well..
she sings really really good.. the judges are right when they say she's one of the best singers in America..

Jessica lacks star quality for one and doesnt have enough charisma. hindi sya kaya itawid ng talent lang

Proven na na marami syang Fans kaya Uminit ang Pangalan nya eh ;) i don't think na gaya ng sabi ni Blogger TVNetworkwar na di pa ready ang pinoy na sa mga di mestiza the likes of Bea or Anne, i think si Jessica ang Babalik sa "Morena" Features gaya ng ke Nora Aunor ;) With the talent Jessica has, babalik ulit ang Pinoy sa mga "Morena" looks kesa sa mga Mediocre standards ng ibang pinoy na kapag maputi ka eh Maganda ka ;))) Go Jessica! ikaw na! The Next American Idol! ;)))
